Oh, hi… nice to meet you.
I’m Sametta Lauren, a creative, a technologist, and a firm believer that a risk taken during uncertainty changes everything.

Well, I taught myself photography because everyone I knew was bad at capturing my right angle (just kidding.) But seriously, no one was there to take my pictures. I built a career in digital marketing because I couldn’t stop talking about it. I lived in Ghana for 8 years, earned my BSc in Information Technology, and worked my way up to manager and lead roles. It sounds fancy, doesn’t it? It is not glamorous, though. And I did all of it as a foreigner, all on my own terms.

Surprisingly, I am in a transitional phase. I never saw this coming. I am trading familiarity for ambition and comfort for purpose. I’m pursuing a fully funded master’s degree abroad and documenting every honest, unfiltered moment of that journey here.
I am a risk taker. I don’t take no for an answer (who does that?). I keep going until I get a yes. And through it all, my relationship with God remains the most complicated and most constant thing in my life.
